Matthew K. Simone
Experience
Matt joined Drummond & Drummond in 2021 as a member of the real estate and business transactions team. In law school, Matt concentrated on corporate and transactional law courses, was a member of the Duberstein Moot Court Team, and at graduation received both the Corporate/Business Law Award and the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence. Following graduation, Matt served as a judicial law clerk for the York County District Court where he clerked, in part, for the Honorable Michael Duddy, who serves as one of the two Maine Business and Consumer Court judges in addition to serving as a York County District Court judge. Following his clerkship and before joining Drummond & Drummond, Matt worked as a transactional attorney at a mid-size law firm in Lewiston, Maine.
About Matt
Matt grew up in Bangor, Maine and graduated from the University of Maine in 2015. He moved to Portland the same year to attend the University of Maine School of Law and has lived here since. In his spare time, Matt enjoys playing ice hockey and golf.
