Horace Horton elected President of the Pine Tree Council BSA for third year

Horace W. Horton has recently been elected President of the Pine Tree Council Boy Scouts of America for the third year.  In that capacity, Horace presided over the annual Distinguished Citizen Annual Dinner honoring Richard W. Peterson, President of Maine Medical Center, and the annual Governor’s Luncheon on March 13th with Governor Paul LePage.

In the Pine Tree Council:
• Nearly 7,500 youth participate across 10 central and southern Maine counties in 340 Scout units!
• Over 3,500 local adult volunteers lead our Scouts!
• Over 3000 Scouts attend our camps throughout the Pine Tree Council!
• Be prepared!
