Boy Scouts of America Recognition Dinner

DEAD RIVER COMPANY AND PRESIDENT & CEO ROBERT MOORE HONORED AT
BOY SCOUTS ANNUAL RECOGNITION DINNER

Robert A. MooreHorace Horton, President of the Pine Tree Council, Boy Scouts of America, which serves the southern ten counties of the State of Maine, has announced that Dead River Company and President & CEO Robert Moore, will serve as the honorees for the Council’s 36th Annual Distinguished Citizen’s Award Dinner at the Holiday Inn By The Bay on December 5, 2013. The dinner is the primary annual fundraiser for the Pine Tree Council, providing support for scouting activities throughout the year.

According to Eric Tarbox, Pine Tree Council Scout Executive, “the funds received in this campaign will assist with the services provided to the packs, troops, and venture crews in our State.”  Training for adult leaders, district Cub and Scout activities, Scouting for Food Good Turn Project, camping programs, and Camperships are but a few of the activities and services provided to the southern ten counties of Maine.  Scouting continues to be a values-driven program that makes a difference in the lives of young people.
