David. J. Marchese
Dave joined Drummond & Drummond, LLP in January 2017. He provides legal representation for individuals who have been harmed through the intentional or negligent acts of others, including vehicle-related accidents, slip-and-falls, professional malpractice, product liability claims, wrongful death cases, worker’s compensation, Social Security Disability and other personal-injury areas of the law.
Dave has practiced in the Portland area for over 25 years and in Maine for over 30 years. Initially practicing law as an Assistant Attorney General, Dave opened and operated Marchese Injury Law, P.A. from 1991 through 2016. Using a savvy and disciplined approach, Dave identifies the unique strategies that work for each client. With persistent and strong advocacy, a smart application of the law, clients get advice to help them heal, as well as to regain control over their lives. His clients do not become “victims”, but instead receive the help they need to win the compensation and respect they deserve. Dave believes that clients must be heard and understood, as the first step in leading them successfully through the legal and insurance system.
In his spare time, Dave loves to cook for friends and family, carrying on long-standing traditions such as a weekly “family dinner”. Having lived in several other states, Dave calls Maine home and believes it is the greatest place to live and raise a family. He is active with many outdoor pursuits, including road cycling, fat bike riding, hiking, backpacking, snow shoeing, Alpine and Nordic skiing, swimming, gardening, as well as recreational sailing and power boating.
