Paul E. Peck
Paul began his legal career in 1986 in his home state of Connecticut. Paul moved to Maine in 1988 and joined Drummond & Drummond in February of 1992. Paul is currently licensed in Maine and Connecticut.
Paul has an extensive and varied legal background having spent the first 15 years of his practice primarily as a litigator during which he represented clients in business and real estate disputes, family and criminal matters, and personal injury. Paul now concentrates on creditor rights including workouts, commercial and civil foreclosures,and commercial collections; business law including business formation, acquisitions and sales and litigation; and real estate law, including acquisitions, sales, litigation, and development. Paul provides general counsel to many private and public lenders and numerous small to medium-sized businesses in addition to individual clients.
Paul is a real estate development entrepreneur having developed two significant ski area condominium projects and two vacation ownership resorts.
Paul graduated from Hartwick College in 1983, with a dual major in Economics and Political Science, and from Suffolk University School of Law in 1986.
Paul is an active member of the Portland business community and is a member of the following organizations: Portland Chamber of Commerce, serving as its President from 1998-2000; Maine Real Estate Development Association, serving as vice Chair of the Conference Committee; Portland Community Police Advisory Board; and Portland Economic Development Plan Task Force. Paul is very involved with his children's athletic activities, serving on his community's Little League and football Board of Directors, and coaching both youth football and baseball. Paul is an avid skier (Sugarloafer), water skier and golfer.
