Alexander W. Saksen - Associate

Alex graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1997 and the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 2000. He was admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2000 and practiced law with two law firms in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 2000 – 2007. While in Pittsburgh, Alex practiced in all fields of civil and criminal litigation, including insurance coverage, products liability, environmental, real estate, securities, anti-trust, personal injury, intellectual property, identity theft, healthcare, oil and gas law, contracts, and coal supply. Alex also counseled clients in the areas of healthcare, natural resources, and protection from identity theft. Alex’s practice has carried him outside of Maine and Pennsylvania, to California, Washington, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and the District of Columbia. Alex joined Drummond & Drummond, LLP in 2007 and was admitted to the Maine bar in the same year. Since being at Drummond & Drummond, LLP Alex has focused on personal injury litigation, title insurance defense, financial institution litigation, identity theft resolution, healthcare privacy issues, family law, real estate disputes, and construction litigation. Alex and his wife Ellen live in the Back Cove section of Portland, Maine, where they split their weekends between watching Notre Dame football and hiking/biking the White Mountains.
